More About Tanya

This lovely lady had a bit of an identity change when she came to WCDC a few months back. It wasn't long after "Melissa" the stray had been in WCDC 's care that it became apparent that her tail was infected to the point where Q Street Animal Hospital decided it had to come off. They performed her tail amputation, from which she recovered marvelously. However, her foster mother decided that this old name just didn't match this much happier, now pain- free kitty, so Melissa transformed into TANYA~ a beautiful brown tabby girl believed to be about 6 to 7 years old. She is a calm and content feline, who loves the simple life of lounging in the sun and stretching out on the floor. Tanya enjoys being brushed and pampered, adjusts to new situations easily, and has a contagious purr! She was previously spayed before finding herself homeless, so at some point she was someone's beloved pet. This time of the year our adults do not get adopted easily due to the abundance of babies they must compete with. This is a tragedy, as we have some real great cats waiting patiently for their forever homes. If you are unable to provide this laid-back gal a new home, would you please consider circulating her plight! Copy her photo and story and send it to everyone you know! It's amazing how much networking helps to get these cats homes!!! Tanya will coexist with other cats as she just ignores them. Please contact her foster mom, Marilyn, at (541) 607-2482 to meet this cutie in foster care!

Tanya is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
