More About Happy Feet

Second UPDATE on Gorgeous BLUE "POCKET PIT BULL: " HAPPY! " Happy is very good with dogs he knows, but can be very aggressive toward new dogs unknown to him. He is also aggressive toward other dogs around food. For this reason, we require a home with a lot of aggressive-dog experience and someone with the confidence to manage and control Happy. Once Happy knows a dog, he is wonderful with them, loves to play, and is trustworthy. The poor guy is just terrified at first of other dogs and will lash out at them. Some digging into his history revealed evidence for multiple attacks on this little guy by other dogs, so no wonder he is so afraid. Now that Happy feels safe with his new dogpack, he shows wonderful social skills and no aggression at all when playing. He would probably LOVE a home with another dog. He is fine with both male and female dogs, big and small dogs! We still think Happy had a tough life, however. He is food-aggressive with other dogs, but not with people. HappyFeet was rescued from a Los Angeles shelter, where he stood out to rescue groups for his incredible love for people. He is TINY - maybe 35lbs if that...A genuine throw-back to the original American Pit Bull Terrier line, which was small, muscular, and athletic. Happy is a smart, goofy, energetic, wiggly little bundle of love. In fact, this dog loves people more than almost any Pit Bull that ever came to "Luv-a-Bull" rescue. If you are looking for a great companion for your little girl dog, and you want an amazing personality, this is your boy. He is a WHOLE LOTTA DOG in a tiny little package. Happy has shown absolutely NO "issues" of any kind other than food-aggression with other dogs. He walks well on a leash, minds, is housebroken, has no desctructive tendencies, is crate-trained, has no separation anxiety issues, no health issues and is madly in love with all human beings...But Happy must go to a home with a lot of breed experience, and more importantly, someone who has experience with dog-reactive dogs, since he can be unpredictable around food, at least for now. Happy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $125 to help us cover the cost of his neuter/vetting. Happy Feet is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
