More About Sophia
SOPHIA is a striking, spayed female 2-year-old shepherd/husky type dog with brilliant blue eyes. Though her exact mix is unknown, what we do know is that this girl will need an experienced handler. Whatever breed she has in her it is definitely a working type of sorts, as she has a lot of energy and needs somebody who would be willing to work with her on a regular basis. She is a VERY sweet dog who needs a gentle and patient handler. She is a bit cautious with people she doesn't know, especially men, but in general she has a very exuberant personality. She loves racing around the yard or dog park, and is quite quick! She would make an excellent agility dog, jogging buddy, or playmate for a young pup. A no-child home is a must, but she does like other dogs and will coexist with kitties--just needs to be reminded of the "no chase" rule from time to time. She is extremely intelligent and wants nothing more than to please her owner. Sophia is a damaged dog, in that her entire life, pre-WCDC, was spent inside a crate. She is still getting over this traumatic time. If you think that you may be able to provide Sophia the rehabilitation that she so desperately deserves, please call Martha at (541) 687-1550 to set up a meet and greet. She IS house broken, has been fixed, had all her shots, and is microchipped! Again, she is a very nice girl, but needs a dog savvy person to share the rest of her life with!
Sophia is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
