More About Sweetie Pie - Adop
SweetiePie is a gorgeous, muscular, Blue female Pit Bull. Sweetie is GREAT with other dogs and loves all people. She is also really good with small breed dogs and seems to be afraid of cats! Sweetie is only about a year or two old. She is housebroken, walks well on a leash, loves to ride in the car, doesn't bark, has no bad habits or "issues" that we can see, and is just an all-around amazing, beautiful dog. Sweetie has one bad habit that we can identify so far - if she thinks she is being ignored, she will carefully take a tiny bit of the skin of your arm or leg or butt in her front teeth and PINCH YOU! When you yelp in painful surprise, she will smile and wiggle like she just did something great. Apparently, this has worked for Sweetie in the past as a way to get attention, so we're trying to teach her this is NOT okay! Except for the pinching thing, she is about the most gentle, low-key, mellow, easy-going dog you could hope for. She loves to be with her people, but she is also just fine when left on her own. We've seen no destructive behaviors or anxiety issues. She LOVES her best friend here, the Alapaha Bulldog, "Squishy." However, Sweetie also lives with and walks with a diverse group of other dogs including a temperamental chihuahua, puppies, and both male and female Pit Bulls. She is good with EVERYONE. I can't imagine an environment that Sweetie would not do well in - she is just such a lovely, easy going girl, who would make any moderately active person a great companion. She would probably love to have at least one other dog in the home. Sweetie was abandoned by her owners after having her puppies. She is now fit and healthy and ready for her forever home. Please contact "Luv-a-Bull" Dog Rescue for an application. Sweetie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $200.
